Mampaey Offshore Industries BV designs and supplies Safe Mooring- and Berthing Systems for Oil- and Gas (LNG / LPG) Terminals as well Safe Towing Equipment for Tugboats.

The well-known Mampaey hooks, world-wide in operation, are designed for "Quick Release" (mooring- and towing lines) under all loads conditions and are easy in operation & maintenance.

The hooks are designed in-house under ISO 9001 : 2000 certification and tested under all major test authorities such as Lloyds Register, American Bureau of Shipping, etc.

Besides the manual release, the hooks can also be provided with a Remote Control System to release the hooks from distance. The Mampaey Berthing Approach System is, together with the Environmental Monitoring System (measuring current-, tide, wave-, wind-data, etc.) and the Mooring Load Monitoring System an important information system for jetty operator and pilots to have ships safely berthed and moored to the jetty.

All systems can be completely integrated in iMoor®. Since all mooring and berthing components belong to the same product family, they are fully compatible. The compatibility provides flexibility in selecting iMoor components to form any desired configuration. The interaction of the system components makes iMoor more than the sum of parts.
