Almost 30 years, Vuyk gained experience in the design of vessels and other maritime structures. We are an internationally operating engineering company serving the maritime industry. We provide consultancy and engineering services in the areas of ship and equipment design, marine operations and building supervision. We are specialized in work vessels for the dredging and offshore industries and heavy lift shipping.

We serve owners, contractors, salvage companies, shipyards, authorities, investors and insurance companies. Aside from designing new vessels and conversions, both in the concept phase and in the basic design phase, we can offer consultancy and engineering services for the design and preparation of marine operations such as the transport, positioning and lifting of heavy or special cargo such as wind turbines, drilling rigs, etc. To facilitate this, we have employees with a broad experience in the field of marine operations, naval architecture, and marine, civil, structural and mechanical engineering.

For our consultancy and engineering work we have all required software and tools available for analysis of motions, stability, construction etc. Our skilled staff of about 50 professional designers, engineers and draughtsmen delivers high quality work, using procedures and work instructions ISO 9001:2000 certified. The average experience of our team is about 15 years.
