Successes in wind energy market lead to adjustments in IMT’s commercial team

Interest for IMT’s maintenance free lighting systems in the fast developing wind energy sector is ever increasing. The sustainable IMT solutions are in high demand, especially for large-scale European offshore projects. To be able to offer our potential customers the appropriate service in all stages of the design and production process, IMT has decided to restructure its sales operations from the head office upon Raymond Jacobs’ leaving our company.

Imtech Marine Group opens new Service Branch Office for HVAC and Refrigeration equipment in Florida/USA

Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbau-technik, headquartered in Hamburg/Germany, will open a new Service Branch Office in the USA in May 2010. The branch will offer the full range of mechanical Imtech Services, e.g. HVAC Conversions, Maintenance, and Spare Parts. Refurbishments for Chillers and Compressors will be done in Imtech’s own workshop. The office will be located in the Ft. The Netherlands presents new technology at Vietship

Seventeen innovative Dutch maritime companies will show their latest product developments and innovative concepts at Vietship 2010. The exhibition is to be held from March 17 to March 19 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Holland Marine Equipment will organise a Holland Pavilion at Vietship 2010 in Hall A11 – A18. The 17 Dutch companies exhibit at this Holland Pavilion that will be presented under the Maritime by Holland umbrella.

E-logbook Fishing Fleet Urk

The European commission demands the use of the E-logbook, electronic registration and reporting systems (ERS), on all European fishing vessels larger then 24m from the first of January 2010 and now extended to the first of March 2010. The process of registering and reporting, in compliance with EU regulations, creates a significant administrative burden for the crew of the vessel; the use of ERS systems streamlines the process and greatly reduces this burden.
