There have been many innovations in engine room systems over the past century, including ballast water treatment, fuel oil, thermal oil, lubricating oil, cooling water and sewage treatment systems. Joint steering committee between HMHB and Transpetro

During the trade mission to Brazil, held from 5 till 9 April, Holland Marine House Brazil and Transpetro have declared the intention to start a joint steering committee. The main goal of this committee is to increase business opportunities for the members in the future. Another result from this mission is that a number of Brazilian experts will be invited to Holland for a knowledge exchange.

New order for Huisman’s dedicated wind turbine installation crane

Huisman, the Dutch-based specialist in lifting, drilling and subsea solutions, has secured a new contract with Centrica and MPI Offshore Limited to supply and install a new, state-of-the-art 600mt Wind Turbine Installation Crane onboard the Wind Turbine Installation Vessel “MPI Resolution”. The crane will be constructed, installed, commissioned and tested at the Huisman facility in Schiedam, The Netherlands.
